THE TWIN SISTERS

What is hope?
The sun will shine
Or you’ll be fine
The bills will be paid on time?
Will you be allotted a celestial buffer
For the daily pain you suffer?
There will be less worldly sorrow
Will you live to see tomorrow?
Before life ends
The wrongs will you mend?
The twin sisters Faith and Hope
Are not hanging from a rope;
Nor can they be captured by a telescope;
In the end the sisters are all we have to hold
When life becomes gruelling and cold;
They are internal seeds which have been planted
Some of the many gifts that GOD has granted.

EYE CANDY

Why are we so hungry for money
Worldly possessions?
Purses and shoes
Made by Louis Vouton
Jimmy Choo
Red souled shoes?
Gucci, Chanel, Dior
What’s all the interest in money for?
It’s the Divine who provides our provision
It is HE who makes the decision;
Don’t get it twisted
Wants and necessities are two different things
The contrast between a plate of food and bling;
My heart grieves
For those who don’t believe;
One day when you have no clue
There will be no more Jimmy Choo;
Sitting on an empty floor
No Dior;
Only the hoochi
Wearing a counterfeit Gucci;
Know your roll
Check your soul;
Clean up your thoughts
Forget your evil plots
For the Almighty calls all the shots;
From birth
When you arrive on earth;
All the pricy eye candy of recreation
Will remain in the earthly location;
Don’t you know
You can’t take them with you when you go;
You will be put where HE needs you to be
For GOD is in charge off your destiny.

I ASK FOR PRAYERS

Hello to all of my Tranquil Mountain Family. I ask all of my blog followers to pray for my brothers and sisters who reside in the Ukraine. Ukraine is in dire straits. An unnecessary war has begun, a power trip of some sorts.

I pray for the safety and shelter for these beautiful people and their families. Imagine, you having to leave your country in a split second, abandon your home, and whatever means of self sustainability you have. All this just to stay alive. God Bless the Ukraine. My prayers will continue.

RAINBOW SKINS

Lift Me up
I will lift you;
Admire Me
I too will admire You;
I am about to stumble over a ball
Please don’t allow Me to fall;
For we are all sisters
A different mother, fathered by different misters;
Yet we are connected with the same fiber
Interpreted by an identical transcriber;
We may look different, but we are all soul twins
In rainbow skins;
Our spirits are meant to mesh
For we are of the same flesh.

SAND CASTLES

Remember when…
Would You like to be
A kid again?
Having to re-learn
All you know
Let’s go;
Repeating the hardships and trials
Learning to rotary phone dial;
First time away from home
Hasty to be grown;
First school dance
Crush romance;
Being five
Getting behind the wheel
Learning to drive;
Lying to get away
Not to be caught
Was the prayer of the day;
From sand castles
To graduation tassels
Now that you’re all grown up
What’s up?
How are you affected
Is it all you expected?

LISTEN!

Two ears
One mouth;
Why?
We are all too busy talking
Nobody listens;
Our only interest
Is in getting Our point of view
Out there;
To hear, really listen
No one cares;
When the tongue starts to flap and flail
We don’t even have time to exhale;
It’s so important to let others know
Where you’ve been
That it’s so hard to listen;
The volume of chaos
Must be turned down
Mute the sound;
Develop your listening skills
Do you have two mouths and one ear
Are You ready to actually hear?

TIME?

What is time
The tic tock
Of the clock?
A bomb in a box
A rising building of blocks?
Time shares and stocks
An elderly ox
Over ripe bean stocks?
Thin and tattered socks
Vision less than that of a hawk
An outnumbered fox?
A last breath
The final rest?
Last in line
What is time?

THE LOOKING GLASS

Love your neighbor
As Yourself;
That sure is a tall order
If You don’t feel loving emotions
For the self;
If You can’t look
Yourself in the mirror
And be satisfied with what You see;
Don’t find comfort in being You
Holding on to an unforgiving heart
Continues to tear your conscience apart;
Old wounds
You don’t know how to resolve
Yet life continues to evolve;
That person You see in the looking glass
Will be the best friend
You will ever have;
Be present
Time is of the essence;
For how can You give love
When You have not love?

SLAM

Why are some humans so rude and harsh
Thicker than a syrupy marsh?
When someone with a physical impediment appears
The mortal snickers and calls it queer;
If your foot is a size eleven
Try walking in a shoe size seven;
Tremendously complicated
Much less sophisticated;
Before you laugh and sum up your conclusions
Recognize that we live in a universe of illusions:
With much diversity
There’s no welcoming committee;
Only those who carry around
A pre-assessed mental diagram
Those who intentionally slam.

A COMMON INFECTION

Feels so free
Just trust in me;
That’s just what they say
Innocence portrayed
Until you are betrayed;
Two faces
With no traces;
Who can I confide
Who won’t out in out lie?
The most precious inner desires
You hope to transpire;
Just who can you trust
That won”t leave you holding a ring of toxic rust?
In this day and age
With who do you trustingly engage?
Deception
Has become a common infection;
It’s a hard lesson taught
Masquerading to be what is not.
